Pusoy Dos is a popular card game with origins in the Philippines. It combines the game-play of Poker and Gin Rummy. The object of the game is to be the first to get rid of all your cards. Cards can be played separately or in certain combinations using poker hand rankings. Games of Pusoy Dos can be played by three or four people.
Game-Play:

Any person can be chosen to deal. Players are allowed to look at their hands immediately. The player with the 3 of clubs (lowest card) must go first. The 3 of clubs can be thrown down as a Single, Pair, 3 of a kind, or Combo format. Play order is usually counter-clockwise. The next player must beat previous played hand/card with same format or can pass. If all players choose to pass, the last to throw down can choose a new format and play anything currently in his or her hand. Play continues until 3 consecutive players are forced to pass. This will happen several times. Again, the last player to throw down has the option of next play format. The winner is first to get rid of final card in hand.
